Delayed Death / Running From Friends

Delayed Death:

So first when I went to bed, I sort of just asked myself “Can I have a lucid dream tonight?”, and then I did so I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence or not. So with the actual dream, I did a good reality check and was like “Oh hey, I’m dreaming!” So I tried flying, and it worked much better than last time. I found that this time I actually have a body, and could see my hands. So then I tried falling and dieing to see what happens, and for around 3 seconds I was just on the ground, blind. Then I had a very strange false awakening. I woke up with the room looking all crazy, the light on, and I was standing up. If I was thinking properly, I would easily have realized it was a dream. I was like “Aha! Caught you false awakening”, but then as I lost lucidity I started to wonder if I really was dreaming, and came up with some crazy excuse as to how I woke up in the middle of the room. The scene changed and I became lucid again, but unfortunately I can’t remember any other parts of the dream.

Running From Friends

I was on my street but it all looked strange. I started to walk down it and random people began to follow me, I began to start running because the people following started to look more menacing but as I started my bones started to shift and I had the ability to run on all fours very fast. After a while of running I managed to get to a house that looked normal, I walked inside and the walls started to open around me. The walls opened on to a very nice view from a mountain and then I woke up

After trying the exercises recommended by the OOBE manual I had downloaded, for many afternoons I finally did it. I had cycled through the exercises and as usual nodded off. But I remember half waking and feeling very very comfortable.. like what I was laying on was just the softest thing ever. Then I’m in what appears to be a light brown mist and it’s laborious to get through and I become frustrated.

Then I’m in a car and the inside of the panels are dark. I look out the side window and I see countryside going by but it’s a grainy super8 movie? I look to the front and it’s the same.. that’s where I realized I had chose to look out front and was therefore in control of my actions? I decide to be in my kitchen.. and instantly I am? I looked at the ceiling fan but it was now just a pendant bulb? I pointed towards it and I feel I am floating up to it.

As I approach it it lights dimly and gains brightness as I get nearer. I then remember.. you should look in a mirror, that’s supposed to be a good thing to do. So I think of my bathroom and instantly I’m in the doorway of it. I peer warily around the door frame to look in my mirror and I see a stocky man in a pastel blue shirt.. but only from the neck down. I notice my mirror is the one I had before the one I have now?

Then in deep tones I hear.. You were supposed to die at 18!!  I responded.. But I’m 47? and the reply back to me was.. Yes, you Can change your destiny!

I looked down and noticed a piece of unnecessary wood on a hinge on the door frame? I looked back at the mirror and there was a skull with flames across the forehead and coming out the right temple (right, if it was a reflection of My skull) after this I kind of lost intention to go anywhere else or be there, and woke up.

I was so elated. I’d done it. It’s without doubt the most amazing experience of my life. I continue occasionally to do it again.

How many lucid dreams have you had?: Millions – as long as I can remember

I don’t remember exactly how it started, but I was living in a city that was near the sea. The sky and sea were all sort of tinged a sickly dull blackened color. What had been happening was that something was poisoning the water and a lot of people had been dying from it. There were several monster type things – there were worms with big teeth in all the pipes and sewers, sort of like lampreys, in different sizes depending on where they lived, and then there were strange humped creatures with black slippery backs that had cavities shaped vaguely like freaky skeleton faces.

I was with a group of people running around, trying to stay alive and find a way to end everything – I remember at one point there was a worm that burst out of a manhole cover and my friend and I only just got out of the way. Later on I told my friends, I guess I was sort of a leader perhaps, to wait for me because I had finally found the source of the problem at the shore. So I went to this big building that was flooded by poisoned seawater, with several death’s heads floating in it (the humped things)and there was this huge, octopus monster (who gave off the impression of being female).

I stood on a ledge in a doorway above the water, and started to gather up this power I had inside me (I’ve always had a hard time ‘feeling’ the magic or healing or whatever that I’ve been trying to do in dreams but this one worked well) to try to defeat her/it, but then one of my friends shows up – he had followed me. So I used all of my energy to send a burst to protect him, and I remember the monster first mocking me for not having enough power, then acting triumphant after I used it all. But I had just enough to live, and I let it hit me once and fell into the poisoned water, going limp and pretending to be dead (I can breathe underwater in dreams). I knew I wouldn’t die because the kind of burst I had sent out was a purifying burst or something, and I remember thinking I had to wait three days to make sure they really thought I was dead and then they would die.

After lying in the silt for a while, I swam in the golden sunlit water between buildings, seeing pipes and such as I swam, back to where my friends were waiting, in the beautiful, renewed world. They were all mad at me for letting them think I was dead, but very glad I was back. After that, I felt the morning sunlight coming and let myself wake up. It was a really cool dream, and I might make a short story out of it. I hope you enjoy reading!
